More pictures this week-  here is a big storm that came in and drenched us, we wore walking boots for the next two days. We are supposed to be getting El Nino in a month. Being a district leader again is a little bit easier this time around. I know what to do and how to do it. My zone leaders live with me and they are my best friends but it´s just hard sometimes to have so many leaders in the same place. Things are great here.

Right now we are teaching Jimmy Ledezma . We found him on the 24th of December, super drunk but walking. He was walking home and when we decided to talk to him he responded with a smile but after just one minute of talking he began to cry and he asked us to help him. He told us to come by a half hour later. We did but he wasn´t there. We thought well just another one who wasn´t up to it. Three days later, Sunday the 27th, we were walking by his house and his mom whistled at us and said, hey my son is here. She then went to go get him and we were let in to visit. He sat down with us and again began to cry and asking for our help. That very same day, determined to change, he went to church. He said that he really liked the reunions and we haven´t stopped visiting him since. He says he´s "gonna be a mormon" soon but he still has to go to church 2 more times and we still have some things to teach but he really has changed. Since the 24th he hasn´t taken a drink, even on Christmas and not even on New Year´s, two of the worst days in the year for drinks. I love this man so much and he also wants to share the gospel with his family. He´s 45 years old and has had a lot of problems in his life but he is different now thanks to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Yesterday we had our first visit with his parents.

Happy New Year!!! Just going to send pictures today. my new area, found some Christmas lights, this is a church. They charge for miracles and healings, worst of all, the people they heal are actors I've met some of the actors before, wild horses outside our apartment one night when we came home.

Mom I need you to get on my Facebook and accept all of the people from here that want to be my friends. I also want you to upload more photos to my FB, mostly photos of my mission that I have sent, but I also want photos from before my mission so the people here can see what I was like back home. Thanks sorry so short but busy. Oh and I got a flash drive so I won't lose any more pictures.

We were truly blessed to see Kalen this Christmas and so excited that next year he will be home with us. He sang to us in spanish and also bore his testimony. It was an uplifting, happy, spiritual, exciting call with him. We got techno savvy and used the Ipad and computer so Kelly who is serving in Chicago could also join in on the call. I was impressed how well they could see and hear each other through the computers. Here are a few pictures from our day. Best Christmas ever. Kalen has grown so much as a person and in the gospel we couldn't be more proud of him and his desire to love and teach his fellow brothers and sisters in Bolivia.

After we are done with the internet today we are going to have an activity guess what it is... we´re gonna go play soccer again but Elder Sperry is gonna make us pancakes as a christmas gift so looking forward to that. I have an idea for you. There is a guy here in my ward and he makes guitars. I have made a design and he says he can do it. It is a personalized guitar and everything. It will be ready by my birthday so you can count it as a gift from you to me OK? I have always wanted to learn guitar but I´ve always been lazy about it. I want to do so many things with my life now, I don't want to miss a minute or take advantage of the potential that God has given me. And yes I can leave it with a family here in my ward, our pensionista is wonderful. She keeps all of the things that elders leave until they go home. I did get my package unopened and couldn't wait to open it sorry Christmas was early for me this year, I loved everything you sent the ties are beautiful.  I forgot my camera today at home I wanted to upload pictures for you. I will try next week. Merry Christmas everyone and I look forward to talking with you guys and hopefully Kelly.
