April 18, 2016

I have no idea what I want to do when I get home. I talk a lot about it with my comp and others all the time. We talk about my idea to be a physical therapist and in the future work with sports teams. I love sports and I loved everything about sports med and physiology and things like that in high school. I also would love to fly in the future but I don´t know if I should do it now. I have still thought about the Coast Guard but the Navy also might be a cool choice. I have so many plans. I really want to travel. I want to see the world. With meeting so many people from different places here in the mission I want to go and move and I don´t like being still. I want to go visit Elder Galan in Spain when he finishes. I would like to go to Central America, Guatemala, Costa Rica and others. My dreams are big but my potential is even bigger. I love people and I want to meet them all. The world is so big and God has given us all His beauty, why not see it.

So not much this week. We were able to watch conference last week. I loved Elder Holland´s talk. I also liked the talk from a Seventy about not delaying to go to the rescue and another talk about Fatherhood. Mom, have you sent the scripture case to Kelly yet? He´ll love it. (Kalen had a beautiful leather scripture case hand made for Kelly with his name and mission on it.)

I think a lot about home but not to make me want to go home, (well a little). I am having some difficulties right now in my area and we don´t have anyone progressing towards baptism. We find people and then our visits inspire them to return to their old churches. It´s been pretty ridiculous lately and really frustrating. That´s probably the reason why I think of home.  Send more picture of you guys at home.  The one with dad wearing glasses is that for real?  does he really need them?

So a few things that I have forgotten to tell you all over the last few weeks.  I was transferred back to Tarija as of March 9th.  I am now serving in the Progreso ward. My new area is kinda rough because we started out with basically no one to teach and no one progressing. We are finding little by little. We also have a hard time getting the members excited to do anything but we keep working. This was our best week so far in terms of numbers and visits but it can be better.  My new comp has 4 months in the mish and is from Medellin, Colombia.  Elder Sánchez is his name he's my BFF. I love hime so much. He just turned 19 in January.  The week I got here I went to the hospital again with a strong stomach infection that I got right before I came to Tarija.  They gave me an injection but I am all good now.  I love reading Jacob. Jacob 5 is probably one of my most marked chapters. 5: 27 was our rally cry here in the mission a little while back too. It´s a good one thanks for sharing it with me again.
